"11,000 elephants killed in Mozambique in six years"
In Mozambique, 90 percent of the elephants were reported to have been killed by illegal hunters.
Fauna & Flora International (FFI), the association of conservation of natural life, has announced that since 2011, illegal hunters have killed 90 percent of the elephant population in Mozambique.
According to The Times newspaper in England, the number of elephants dropped from 12,000 to one thousand, while made a warning for the rest remain thousand of elephants that they would soon be killed if no precautions were taken.
The FFI data show that in the last 10 years, illegal hunters across Africa have killed one of third of the elephants in the continent. This means that 144 thousand elephants were killed. (ILKHA)
