At least 15 PKK members were killed in 2 days within the scope of "Operation Claw" launched by Turkish Armed Forces in Hakurk, Iraq.

The Ministry of Defense made a statement about the Operation of the Claw.

"The Claw Operation, which was launched on May 27, 2019, in the northern part of Hakurk region of Iraq, continues successfully as planned," said the ministry in a statement.

"In this context, six PKK separatist terrorists have been neutralized during the operations carried out in support of our night fire support vehicles, helicopters, and air force operations during the past and the last night; thus, the number of terrorists that have been neutralized since the beginning of the operation has been 15."

Within the scope of the operation, hand-made materials, traps, rocket munitions and a large amount of living material were destroyed.
