2 soldiers and 2 members of the FSA elements lost their lives in Afrin operation announced Turkish Armed Forces.
In the statement made by Turkish Armed Forces, 2 soldiers and 2 Free Syrian Army [FSA] members lost their lives while 15 others injured in the operation carried out against PKK/PYD in Syria's Afrin.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Armed Forces, it is stated that 22 airplanes participating in the operation, in which 42 targets destroyed, including shelters, ammunition depots and weapons belonging to the PKK/PYD-YPG and Daesh by air operations during the day.
"Within the scope of the operation, two heroes of the Turkish Armed Forces were martyred in the conflicts with PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and Daesh terrorist organizations on January 27, 2018, and 11 heroic gun friends were injured. 2 members of the Free Syrian Army were martyred, and four members of the Free Syrian Army were wounded in the clashes," read the statement. said.
"According to the information obtained from the region within the scope of the "Operation of the Olive Branch, 53 PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and members of the Daesh terrorist organization were neutralized during the day. The number of terrorists who have been neutralized since the beginning of the operation has been 447," added the statement.
