In the town of Manbij, north of Syria, two US soldiers were killed and 5 US soldiers were wounded in the blast of handmade explosives.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that deaths and injuries were the results of detonation of handmade explosives in Syria's operation area.

The names and rankings of the deceased were not disclosed when it was stated that the wounded were evacuated from the area to be treated.
