“Many politicians, Islamic scholars and academics across the world, including Hamas leader Khaled Mishal and the Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars Ali Al Qaradaghi, will participate in the symposium,” the institute said in a statement.

The participants will make presentations regarding Saladin Ayyubi and the importance of Jerusalem for the Islamic World at the symposium that aims to commemorate the conqueror of Jerusalem, ​Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi, and create awareness among Muslims for liberating Jerusalem again.

The symposium will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
