5 Turkish soldiers killed, 5 injured in northern Syria
5 soldiers were killed and 5 injured after Syrian regime artillery fire targeting Turkish troops point in Idlib province of northern Syria on Monday, Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement.
On February 3, 7 soldiers and one civilian contractor working with the Turkish military were killed and 9 injured, in a an attack conducted by Syrian regime forces.
In retaliation, Turkish artillery fire intensively targeted Syrian troops in the region, the statement added.
