54,000 Syrian cross to their country for Eid Al-Adha

The Syrians, who want to spend the Ramadan holiday [Eid Al-Adha] in their country, formed a mass crowd at the border gate on the last day of transition.

Due to the civil war in their country, Syrians who forced to take refuge in Turkiye experiencing the joy of being able to spend Eid of Ramadan in their country for years after.

Spent years unable to feast with their near Syrians, falling to around Turkey by the next way to spend this holiday comes close to Kilis.

About 54,000 Syrian people, who wanted to spend the Ramadan holiday [Eid al-Adha] with their loved ones and relatives in their country, have crossed the border to Syrian side.

The Syrians who came to the Öncüpınar Border Gate of the Kilis during the night stayed in the tents formed for them.

The Syrians, who completely filled the tents set up at the border, began to be taken in control from 08:00 am. About 54,000 people have entered Syria so far from approximately 74 thousand Syrians who had an appointment with the Governorship of Kilis.

The Syrians, who come to the border gate with their families from the night hours, are crossing the border to their country with their permission documents, passports and appointments from the official website of Kilis Governor's Office.

So far, about 54,000 people have now learned to be crossed the border to Syrian side, which they expect to return to Turkiye from 26th of June. (ILKHA)
