673 People's Protection Units (YPG) members have been neutralized since Turkey started “Operation Peace Spring” in northern Syria, the Defense Ministry said Thursday

The Defense Ministry posted updated figure of the YPG/PKK members neutralized as part of ”Operation Peace Spring” on Twitter

The word "neutralized" is used by Turkish officials to imply the YPG/PKK members in question surrendered or were captured or killed.

“Operation Peace Spring” was launched by Turkey on Oct. 9 to remove YPG/PKK members from northern Syria in order to establish a safe zone for Syrian return in the area east of the Euphrates River.
