A 3.5 magnitude earthquake jolts western Turkey
The 3.5 magnitude quake hit the Aegean Sea off the coast of the Seferihisar district in Izmir province on Friday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 15:42 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 26.8420 degrees north and a longitude of 26.0291 degrees east, and at a depth of 7.03 km.
