A 3.8 magnitude earthquake hits western Turkey
The 3.8 magnitude quake hit the Aegean Sea off the coast of the Karaburun district in Izmir province on Tuesday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 10:15 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.9230 degrees north and a longitude of 26.0311 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.58 km.
