A 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurs off southern Turkey in Mediterranean Sea

The offshore quake took place off the coast of the Alanya district of Turkey’s southern Antalya, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 10:52 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 36.5526 degrees north and a longitude of 31.5913 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.43 km.
