A 4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts southwestern Turkey
The 4.2 magnitude quake has struck the Menteş district of Turkey’s southwestern Muğla province on Monday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 04:55 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.1298 degrees north and a longitude of 28.7463 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.98 km in the Mediterranean Sea.
