Adana Governorship announced that the activities of Furkan Education and Services Foundation were temporarily suspended.

In the statement made by the Provincial Governor, "Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Adana Public Prosecutor's Office and within the scope of the investigation numbered 2016/47740, in accordance with the opinions of the General Directorate of Foundations, 33^rd of the Constitution and 115^th article of the Turkish Civil Code, all the branches and representatives of Furkan Education and Services Foundation, which is based in Adana province, were temporarily suspended by the Ministry of Interior on January 31, 2018."

The police carried out an operation on Furkan Foundation Headquarters and the on the houses of managers a few day ago, which took 21 people into custody, including the founding president of the foundation Alparslan Kuytul.
