"Afrin city center was fully under control by 08.30 hours this morning by Free Syrian Army [FSA] support by Turkish Armed Forces," said President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a speech he made during the 103^rd anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory.

President Erdoğan spoke during the March 18 Martyrs' Remembrance Day in Çanakkale and the 103^rd anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory organized at the Monument of Martyrs.

"I would like to share a good news at the beginning of my words. Afrin city center was fully under control by 08.30 hours this morning by Free Syrian Army [FSA] backed by Turkish Armed Forces," Erdoğan said. "The symbols of peace and security are fly over Afrin, he added.
