At least 7 government officials died in a plane crash in the east of Sudan.
At least 7 government officials died in a plane crash in the eastern city of El Gadarif in Sudan.
According to reports, an aircraft crashed in Al-Galabat region of Al-Gadarif town near the Sudanese-Ethiopian border, with 18 on board including government officials.
The Minister of Agriculture Omar Mohammad Ibrahim reportedly was on the board and killed during the crash along with the State Governor Mir Ghani Salih, the deputy agriculture minister, the military intelligence director, and police director.
11 people were survived in the crash while the wounded were urgently hospitalized.
