An earthquake hit Elazığ in eastern Turkey

The earhquake measuring 4.9 magnitude shook Elazığ in eastern Turkey on Friday.

Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute said in a statement that the quake struck Sivrice district of Elazığ province at 10:02 am.

No casuality or damage has been reported so far.
