Ban on photo and video in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi
Saudi regime has issued a circular and announced the prohibition of taking photo and video in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi.
Saudi Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the ban for taking photo and video in the Mecca Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba), and the Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina and in the spaces in indoor and outdoor areas of those masjids.
While it is emphasized that this measure is taken in order to protect holy places, it is important to take a look at the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi with the spread of devices, especially those with photographs and images, to "raise the flags of the countries where they came from, it was stated that the community that was intended for worship was disturbed".
In the case, if the law is violated, in order to perform worship in a healthier way, photographs and video detection tools were to be confiscated and legal proceedings were to be carried out, and related countries were also requested to inform the visitors.
