Boycotts made Bahrain workshop fail before it began
Senior Hamas official Mohamed Nazzal said that the Palestinian official and factional absence from the Bahrain economic workshop dealt a blow to its organizers and made it fail before it began.
In press remarks to Quds Press, Nazzal described the White House crew led by Jared Kushner, senior political advisor, as "politically and historically inexperienced and ignorant."
"Kushner deals with other nations' issues in terms of trade and not politics," he said.
The Hamas official applauded the Kuwaiti position on the US deal of the century and the Manama workshop as "distinctive," saying Kuwait asserted that pleasing the US administration should not be an inescapable fate.
Nazzal expressed satisfaction that the Palestinian Authority boycotted the Bahrain workshop. But he noted that they do not expect that this would have positive repercussions on reconciliation.
