Bridge collapses in Italy
At least 22 people were killed and many were injured as a result of the collapse of the motorway bridge in Italy.
It was stated that the highway bridge in Genoa, Italy, collapsed and at least 22 people lost their lives.
The bridge reportedly was built in 1968 that it collapsed from a structural problem with the effect of heavy rainfall.
Vehicles fell along with bridge debris on to rail tracks and a warehouse. Emergency workers are trying to free people caught in crushed vehicles or rubble, and are using sniffer dogs.
The wounded were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Italy's Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli said the bridge collapse looked like an "immense tragedy" and that he was "following with the greatest apprehension what has happened in Genoa."
