Decision on the murder of Syrian pregnant woman and her baby
Twice aggravated life and 72 years of imprisonment were given to two defendants in the case of killing a Syrian pregnant woman and her 10-month-old baby in Turkiye's Sakarya.
Two suspects were sentenced to two times in aggravated life and 72 years of imprisonment in the investigation of killing Syrian pregnant woman and her 10-month-old baby in the forested area in Sakarya Kaynarca province.
In the hearing, which was held in Sakarya 1st Heavy Penal Court, the arrested suspects Birol Karacal, and Celal Bay, the husband of murdered Syrian woman Khalid Al-Rahmun, his brothers Mohammad and Ali Al-Rahmun and the father of the murdered woman Mohammed Abdulhadi Ali Al-Rahmun, the party lawyers and citizens attended.
What happened?
As might be recalled, Syrian Khalid Al-Rahmun, who was living in the province of Kaynarca in Sakarya, did not find his pregnant wife Emani, and his 10-month-old baby at home after arriving from work on July 6, 2017. The police initiated the search work and bodies of Syrian pregnant woman and her 10-month-old baby were found in a forested area in Birlik Neighborhood in Sakarya's Kaynarca. Birol Karacal and Celal Bay, who were taken into custody related to the incident, were arrested by the court.
