The Defense Industry Executive Committee convened under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s chairmanship at the Presidential Complex to discuss the issues on its agenda.

Projects aimed at adding new ones to the already available domestic and national systems that further strengthen Turkish security forces, which have been conducting successful operations inside and outside of borders for the security, were reviewed during the meeting held on Thursday.

Also, in accordance with the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish security units, projects on procurement and modernization works were evaluated.

"In this regard, decisions regarding equipment and ammunition, used in land, sea and air systems, were taken," the statement read revealed by the Presidency official website.
