The detention order included 100 in the land forces, 33 in the air forces, 37 in the sea forces and 6 in the Coast Guard Command within the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's office against FETO linked soldiers.

The prosecutor's office announced that among those facing arrests were a colonel, 2 lieutenant colonels, 5 majors, 7 captains and 100 lieutenant commanders, 18 lieutenant and 43 non-commissioned officers.

Operations are underway to arrest soldiers over FETO links blamed for the 2016 coup attempt.
