District Governor Çiftçi appointed as trustee to Sur Municipality

District Governor Abdullah Çiftçi was appointed as a trustee to Sur Municipality to replace People's Democratic Party (HDP) Sur Mayor Filiz Buluttekin who was taken into custody on Friday.

Diyarbakir Governor's Office announced that Sur Governor Abdullah Çiftçi has been appointed as trustee to replace HDP Sur Mayor Filiz Buluttekin, who was dismissed on the ground of a terrorism investigation.
