The dust cloud, which came through Syrian side and was effective in the early morning on Friday, painted the sky in red in Mardin's Nusaybin.  Due to the red sky painted by the dust, clothing stores had to close their shops in the downtown.

The effect of the dust cloud, which was spread by wind, was effective in the provinces of Mardin.

In the cloud of dust, which was also effective in Nusaybin, reduced the visibility by 50 meters. Provincial Health Directorate, dispatching masks in the center of the bazaar, the District Municipality warned the public against the dust.

Because of the rainy muddy rain and dust cloud covering the town, the district tradesmen closed the shutters.

It was stated that students could not go to the school to get their reports due to the heavy dust cloud.
