Emergency State can be re-extended says Deputy PM Bozdağ
"Extending the state of emergency is clearly needed. It will be re-extended if the Turkish Parliament approves," said Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bozdağ.
Deputy Prime Minister and Government Spokeswoman Bekir Bozdag said that cross-border operations in fighting with FETO would continue. Bozdağ, who expressed that MIT brought 80 FETOs from 18 countries to Turkiye, also touched the situation of the state of emergency. "Extending the state of emergency is clearly needed. It will be re-extended if the Turkish Parliament approves," said Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bozdağ.
Bozdag used the following phrases: "Turkiye is having active counter-terrorism. Operations in Syria and de-escalation zone activities in Idlib continue. Turkiye also fights FETO and PKK in Turkiye. Extending the state of emergency is clearly needed. It will be re-extended if the Turkish Parliament approves."
