US President Donald Trump’s extraordinary letter to Recep Tayyip Erdogan warning his Turkish counterpart not to be a “fool” has shocked everybody around Turkey due to its lack of protocol and seriousness.

President Erdogan has put the letter offering to mediate for PKK/YPG members occupying northern Syria in trash bin.

On the day the letter was received, Erdogan started an operation in northeastern Syria against the US-backed PKK/YPG members.
