Father believes his missing daughter Leyla is alive

While searching for missing Leyla Aydemir continues in Ağrı, the painful father Nihat Aydemir said that he believed that his daughter is alive and that somebody had kidnapped her.

On the 15th day of the search and rescue work, Leyla Aydemir, 3 and a half years old, disappeared in the village of Bezirhane, where she went with her family on the first day of the Eid of Ramadan in Turkiye's Ağrı.

The Gendarmerie Search and Rescue team, Van and Ağri AFAD [Disaster and Emergency Directorate] teams, the Red Crescent teams and UMKE teams, who were under the Gendarmerie Commando Special Forces Commandership, started their operations in the morning hours and continued their search and rescue efforts.

Nihat Aydemir, who stated that the idea of his daughter had been kidnapped is outweighing, called out the kidnappers to release his daughter. "I will not complain to anyone, just want my daughter back," said Aydemir.

"My daughter is alive"

Aydemir said, "My daughter has been kidnapped because we have not found her body so far. We would find her body if she was killed or dead. My child is alive, I believe that. I am calling to those who keep my daughter, for the sake of God, if you have a bit mercy and conscience, release my daughter to somewhere. I will definitely not be a complainer."
