The candidates for the presidential candidacy to be held on June 24 for political parties for the President and the 27th Term General Assembly election will be concluded at 17.00 on Saturday.

In the election to the presidency, political party groups or who have received at least 100,000 signings or a political party that received at least 5 percent of the total votes alone or alliance in the most recent parliamentary general election can nominate a candidate for the presidential election.

Candidate applications to the Supreme Electoral Council for those who want to be nominated by political parties or voters for the presidential candidacy started on May 1. The application deadline for those who want to become a presidential candidate with 100 thousand signatures to be given by the voters is completed on May 2.
