Fire in Ankara kills 5
At least 5 people lost their lives in a fire in a building in Ankara, capital of Turkiye.
At least 5 people died and 11 other people were injured in a fire in a 3-storey building at Iskitler Ata Industrial Estate, Ankara.
The fire has erected in an abandoned three-story building in the Iskitler Ata Industrial Housing Estate, where paper collectors, most of which were Afghan nationals, used as a warehouse.
A large number of ambulances, firefighters and National Medical Research Teams were dispatched to the fire site.
Ankara Governor told reporters that the cause of the fire had not been determined yet in the building in which the fire broke out was abandoned and uninhabitable.
Five Afghan workers were killed and eleven others were injured as a result of a fire and taken to hospitals.
