First results of Turkiye’s local election come in as vote count counties
The first results of the March 31 local administrations general elections in Turkiye were announced following the Supreme Electoral Council lift the broadcasting ban.
Local elections in Turkiye held on Sunday came to an end. First results were announced flowing the Supreme Electoral Council lift the broadcasting ban.
56.911.967 voters voted in the 194.390 ballot box on Sunday.
Citizens, who participated in local elections, have elected 1.389 mayors among the race of 8.270 candidates for a 5 years term in 30 metropolitans, 81 provinces, 922 districts, and 386 towns.
After counting the votes, all the votes are sent to the provincial election board.
The first results were announced after the election bans were lifted at 19.15. (ILKHA)

AK PARTY: 47.84 percent
MHP: 4.85 percent
Alliance of Nations: 36.60% Percent
CHP: 30.66 percent
IYI Party: 5.94 percent
HDP: 3.40
Others: 7.31 percent
