In a written statement, Germany, France, Britain, and Spain strongly condemned the demolition by zionist of Palestinians buildings in the district of Wadi al Hummus, in south East of Jerusalem.

"Germany, France, Spain and the UK on the demolitions in Wadi al Hummus: We remain seriously concerned by the continued demolition of Palestinian property by Israeli authorities. The practice is harmful to the peace process."

"The practice causes unnecessary suffering to ordinary Palestinians and is harmful to the peace process," said the group of EU member states. "They set a dangerous precedent that directly jeopardizes the two-state solution."

The European Union on Monday said that the demolitions violate international law, saying it expects "the zionist authorities to immediately halt the ongoing demolitions."

"The continuation of this policy undermines the viability of the two-state solution and the prospect for lasting peace," EU foreign policy spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said.

"In this specific case, the demolish were particularly egregious as a number of building were located in areas A and B, under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority according to Oslo Agreements, and thus constitute a violation of these agreements," the statement read.

The statement warned that demolishing of Palestinians houses set a dangerous precedent that directly jeopardizes the two-state solution.
