The Hamas Movement has mourned Islamic Jihad military commander Bahaa Abul-Ata, who was assassinated along with his wife at dawn Tuesday in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the zionists' crime will not go unpunished.

In the statement, Hamas held the zionists fully responsible for all the consequences resulting from such military escalation, affirming that the assassination of Abul-Ata would be retaliated.

Abul-Ata and his wife were murdered at dawn Tuesday in a zionists' aerial attack on a house in al-Shuja’iyya area of Gaza City. Two other citizens were also wounded.
