The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas praised the initiative to end the split of the International People's Committee for Justice and Peace in Jerusalem, which was headed by the Catholic Priest Manuel Musallam.

The initiative is a serious initiative said Hamas in a statement that aimed at rebuilding national institutions on democratic principles, the participation of all people and taking responsibility and ending the state of division.

Hamas, who pointed out that the Palestinian cause should be protected, said that the Palestinian people's resistance and persistence opportunities can be strengthened by evaluating this initiative together with other national initiatives.

Hamas has also called for the implementation of the ever-signed reconciliation agreements in order to counteract the Palestinian cause.
