HUDA PAR Education Affairs presidency issued a written message on the 2018-2019 academic year that ended as of Friday.

The message gave important advice to parents on summer vacation and wished a great holiday to all teachers and students.

It was emphasized in the message that the problems related to education and training were very important and chronic problems could not be solved for years, while underscored that it is necessary to stop imitating the West and to implement a domestic education system that will build country's civilization.

2018 - 2019 academic year ended June 14, 2019, after an intensive 8-month course and examination marathon in Turkey. Thus, approximately 18 million students started their summer vacation for three months.

"The level of civilization of a society is proportional to the quality of education of that society. It is a reality that if you are not at the desired level in education, you cannot transfer your legacy of values ​​to the new generation. Therefore, it is very important to eliminate the problems of education and training," statements were included.

Referring for a need a domestic educational system HUDA PAR continued as education in Turkey is not in a position to transfer domestic culture and civilization to future generations, both in shape and content.

The chronic problems of Turkey's education have not been solved since the reforms and changes that have been made over the years have meant nothing more than formalism. The fact that Turkey is 99th in the world in the quality of education ranking is a clear indication of this.

Giving advice to parents about the summer vacation, HUDA PAR said: "Because the education system is insufficient to complete the deficiencies in the spiritual values point, the summer vacation can be turned into an important opportunity for the completion of these deficiencies.

The parents should be able to make and support the necessary contribution in order for our children to benefit from the summer Qur'anic courses held in mosques and other private religious institutions.

Summer vacation should be the occasion for our children to take a one-year intensive course and test stress. However, it should be evaluated with a mild pace course program that will prevent them from completely cutting off from the lessons and keep the information in mind fresh.

One of the main problems of the youth of the time is that children break away from real life and become doomed to virtual life. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the measures necessary to prevent the holiday from becoming a virtual life under the bondage of the internet and television.

It is a pedagogical necessity to make a 3-month plan to involve cultural and social activities with children, to reduce the school report from the agenda in any way, and not to engage in a negative attitude towards the child.

It is important to know that there will be no benefit for children to be burdened with intensive curriculum and homework and make the holiday more stressful than the school period.

The holiday should be really a holiday; it should mentally rest our children both physically and spiritually. It is vitally important to note that the programs to be placed are relaxing and reinforcing activities.
