ZOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the marchers wounding the many youths and causing suffocation to dozens of others.

The march, which started after the Friday prayer, continue on weekly basis to demand the re-opening of the village’s main road that was closed by the ZOF for the past 18 years.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth was hit with the shrapnel of live bullets in Nabi Saleh village to the northwest of Ramallah also on Friday afternoon during IOF quelling of the townspeople peaceful march.
