Over a quarter of a million Palestinian worshipers visited al-Aqsa Mosque for the last Friday prayer in the holy month of Ramadan despite all the restrictions of the occupation gangs and blocking roads.

Eyewitnesses said that the zionist gangs deployed in large numbers on Al-Quds streets and at dozens of checkpoints surrounding the Old City.

On Friday morning, the zionist gangs closed all entrances to the Old City and al-Aqsa Mosque after a Palestinian citizen allegedly stabbed two settlers in Jerusalem.

The terrorist zionist gangs later opened three gates to al-Aqsa Mosque but assaulted and harassed the worshipers who were heading to the holy mosque to pray on the last Friday of Ramadan.

A number of worshipers were arrested at checkpoints and others were prevented from entering the mosque and ordered to return.
