Following a mother named Hacire Akar, who before staged a sit-in protest with the claim that her son was kidnapped to the mountains by HDP members, some other families whose children were also kidnapped by the same organization staged a sit-in protest in front of the HDP Diyarbakır provincial presidency.

His 18-year-old son Mustafa Biçer was detained 11 months ago for yelling slogans while attending a justice rally, Rauf Biçer said.

"My son spent 2 days in jail for yelling slogans at the rally. My child was brainwashed and taken to Kobane by HDP/PKK members in detention," father said.

Father Rauf Biçer added that his son Mustafa had a phone call with him on the 2nd day he left home and said he was recruited by the YPG/PKK, through Akcakale border where he crawled 5 hours till passed to the Syrian side.

Father Biçer expressed that he did not want his sons to be deceived and taken to the mountains, said that they have not heard from his child since that phone conversation on the 2nd day.

"His mother is sick. People die once but we die every day, every hour."

"We're common sense people, we don't want anyone to get hurt. We are all brothers of Islam. Who are we fighting for? What is this fight? I speak Kurdish in the West and I speak Kurdish here," he said.

Stating that he went to the HDP building after the HDP took his son away, painful father said he spoke to HDP officials and asked for his son to send back to him. "I said 'I want my child back'. They said to me, ' I can't bring my own child back, how can I bring your child back'."
