Joint Operations Center started operations at full capacity, minister
Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced Saturday that the "Joint Operations Center" has begun operating at full capacity.

The statement came from National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. Speaking in Izmir, Akar said: "the Joint Operations Center has started operations at full capacity."
The first joint helicopter flight for the safe zone planned to be established with the United States in northern Syria was carried out today, Minister Akar said. "In addition, the destruction of terrorist positions and fortifications has also been started."
Minister Akar also said they will use the right to self-defense at the fullest level in any attack on Turkish observation posts in Idlib or against Turkey's presence there.
"654 terrorists have been neutralized in the north of Iraq in the last 8 months, including 64 in Operation Claw-1 and 16 in Operation Claw-2," Minister Akar said regarding the operations against the PKK in northern Iraq. "Operation Claw-3 continues successfully."
