In the village of Beşpınar (Arenze) of Kurtalan, it is stated that the lightning strike wasted 70 sheep.

According to the information, the incident took place at the time of 17:30 pm Monday at Beşpınar village. Some 70 sheep were wasted by the twin lightning strike.

The Syrian national shepherd, who was grazing the sheep on the plateau, said lightning strikes occurred when suddenly it started raining and that is when it hit sheep.

The shepherd said that 2 lightings hit the sheep while he tried to gather the sheep after the rain, "Almost 70 sheep were killed by the lightning strike. Then I noticed the sheep owners, but it was too late. I could not save any sheep hit by lightning." (ILKHA)
