Lira at the strongest level against U.S dollar since April
After a long break, the U.S. dollar/TL, which tested below 5.50, fell as low as 5.48.
The Turkish lira firmed to 5.48 against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday, its strongest value since early April.
While the trade war between the US and China has flared, the Turkish Lira continues to gain in value.
The dollar/TL, which has been on a downward trend since the early of the week, dropped to its lowest level since early April.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 6.1720, versus 6.1740.
