Mawlid an-Nabi was revived throughout Turkiye in all mosques on the occasion of the 1446^th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad honored the world.

On the occasion of birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, who has honored the world 1446 years ago, programs were held in many provinces, districts, towns and villages throughout Turkiye. Mosques were filled by citizens who want to revive Mawlid and-Nabi and prayer were performed for the Muslim world.

Ankara

Presidency of Religious Affairs, held a program on the occasion of the 1446^th anniversary of Muhammad's birth, in Melike Hatun Mosque. Citizens who want to revive the Mawlid an-Nabi went to Melike Hatun Mosque, Kocatepe Mosque, and flocked to the Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque.

Istanbul

Hundreds of citizens who wanted to revive the Mawlid an-Nabi flocked to Eyüp Sultan Mosque. Citizens who want to perform Isha prayers in the Eyüp Sultan Mosque, couldn’t find a place inside of the mosque, so they performed Mawlid in the yard of the mosque.

As in throughout the country, citizens performed this night with dua and prayer in Konya, Edirne, Bursa, Denizli, Adana, Elazığ, Diyarbakır, Mardin Batman, Bingöl, Bitlis, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, filled mosques to benefit from this night.
