Stressing that minesweeping operations are continuing in detecting IEDs and mine traps planted by PKK/YPG members in the "Operation Peace Spring" area, Turkish Defense Ministry said: "Our commandos have discovered a mine warfare training and storage facility during search and sweeping operations in the south of Tel Abyad. It has been determined that in the mines that were placed in civilian-majority residential areas, metal fragments and metal bearings were used to ensure maximum casualties. The incendiary devices inside the storage facility were disabled along with other weapons and ammunition."
