National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien tests positive for coronavirus, White House says
Trump National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien has tested positive for coronavirus, White House said in a statement on Monday.
"He has mild symptoms and has been self-isolating and working from a secure location off site. There is no risk of exposure to the President or the Vice President. The work of the National Security Council continues," the statement said.
Robert O'Brien took office as the 28th United States National Security Advisor on September 18, 2019. President Trump appointed O'Brien to succeed John Bolton, who resigned earlier that month.
