New tunnels discovered in Ras al-Ayn

New tunnels have been discovered by Turkish troops in Ras al-Ayn, northern city of Syria, Turkish Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Monday.

Turkish Defense Ministry said that commandos who continue their search and sweep operations had identified a new tunnel belonging to PKK/YPG members.

Turkish Armed Forces along with Syrian National Army launched a cross-border military operation, which code-named by Turkey as "Operation Peace Spring", into north-eastern Syria against PKK/YPG members on Oct. 9, 2019.
