Nigerian Army Chief Attahiru Ibrahim killed in plane crash

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Attahiru Ibrahim died in a plane crash in Kaduna alongside other senior military officers.

“An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained,” the Nigerian Air Force tweeted.
