Number of families staging sit-in protest rises to 46
The number of families staging a sit-in protest outside HDP office in Diyarbakir for their kidnapped children rose to 46 on Monday.
Another family joined the families in action outside HDP office in Diyarbakir for their children who had been kidnapped to the rural areas controlled by the PKK.
Güzel Aslan, another painful mother who came from Muş, an eastern province of Turkey, stated that her son disappeared 5 years ago, adding that she has been searching for her son Turan Aslan for years but could not find him.
Her son Turan Aslan went missing immediately after done his military service and arrived home, she said, so she decided to take action outside the HDP office.
Güzel Aslan said her son was working in Muş and his friends informed the family that her son didn't show up at work in a morning. "We've been looking for him, but we haven't found him in years. I want my son to come. I'm here to support the mothers who staged sit-in protest for their kidnapped children and I want my son back too."
Meanwhile, there was tension between families and reporters of a pro-HDP/PKK news-site.
The families were anger to the reporters on the grounds that they publish fake news while asked the reporters in question to move away from the area where families are taking action.
