Turkiye went on polls for the 27^th term deputy general elections and for the presidential election carried out by the Supreme Electoral Council [YSK] on Sunday.

After the election, which started at 08.00 and closed at 17.00 pm, YSK's head Sadi Güven was in an evaluation and stated:

"The number of voters in the election was 56,322,632. The number of polling stations was 180,065. The number of prison polls was 493. The number of prison voters was 84,924. The number of customs polling was 81 and number of abroad voters were 3,047,323."

Thanking everyone who served in the election, Güven wished that the election lead good deeds for Turkiye.

According to YSK's calendar, the official results of the election will be announced on Friday, June 29. (ILKHA)
