Interior ministry said in a statement that Operation Kiran-3 has begun on Saturday, September 21st on the Siirt and Sirnak line, based on the Herekol, Bestler Dereler region.

As soon as Operation Kiran-3 began, a total of 16 PKK members, 2 of whom were on the grey list, were killed.

The statement also read that operation of Kiran-1, Kiran-2, Kiran-3 are continuing. A total of 43 PKK members have been killed and 58 caves, shelters and warehouses have been destroyed so far as part of the operations. (ILKHA)
