Palestine reports 8 corona deaths, 661 new cases within 24 hours
The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported eight new deaths associated with COVID-11 (coronavirus), 661 new positive tests, and 419 recoveries in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report, seven of the new victims who died of the virus are from the West Bank and one from Gaza.
55 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 20 of them have been placed on ventilators.
94.0 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 4.9 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry.
