Passenger bus overturns in Turkiye kills 8, injures 27
As a result of the overturns of the passenger bus in Afyonkarahisar, in Turkiye, 8 people lost their lives and 27 people were injured.
On the Afyonkarahisar-Antalya Highway, the overturns of the passenger bus to the water channel resulted in the death of 8 people and 27 injured.
The accident took place on the Afyonkarahisar-Antalya Highway. According to information, 07 ZY 555 plate passenger bus belonging to Kamil Koç company, toppled to water channel next to the roadside as a result of the driver lost steering control.
Upon the notice after the accident, health and fire crews were sent to the scene. The wounded were taken to hospitals by ambulances. As a result of the work of fire brigade and AFAD teams, bodies of 8 people were taken out of the bus.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
